Comprehensive childbirth education, completely online! Join for live group class with childbirth educator (BACE) and birth doula, Emma O’Brien. Grounded in Boston, MA, these classes will cover a wide range of topics from anatomy and physiology in late pregnancy, to measuring progress in labor, and non-pharmacologic as well as pharmacologic pain management options. No judgment, just evidence based information about your options in childbirth. Contact me at email@example.com for more information on signing up!
This childbirth series will cover all the bases from anatomy and physiology of pregnancy and labor, informed decision making and coping with labor (both pharmaceutical and non-medical options covered in depth). We’ll cover birth (both vaginal and cesarean), the immediate postpartum and newborn care. Classes inspired by Boston Association for Childbirth Education (BACE), Emma offers community-based classes to Boston families regardless of the type of birth they plan. This series will be really low cost because it’s my first offering!
Upcoming Sundays February 23, March 1, March 8 and March 15 I will be offering a low-cost comprehensive childbirth education series in Jamaica Plain at Birth and Beyond on Centre St.
Class will meet between 2-5pm. This will be my certifying series of classes, and I plan to continue to offer other childbirth ed classes in Jamaica Plain in 2020. If you’re interested in joining, contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
In 2020, I’ll be launching a series of herbal classes on pregnancy topics, called Birthkeeper Herbalism. Interested folks will be able to sign up for the whole series, or one-off topics. More information will be posted on the website.
I am also becoming a certified childbirth educator through BACE (Boston Association for Childbirth Education). Upcoming herbal-informed and queer-centered childbirth classes will be planned in 2020.
I will still be attending births, but will take fewer families on in a given month. Repeat clients, hit me up! 😉
